Compuprint's origins can be traced back over 50 years to the printing divisions of Honeywell and Bull Group. For over 20 years Compuprint worked with IBM/RICOH to develop and manufacture their 4247 line of serial printers. Compuprint's legacy of designing and manufacturing millions of high quality and innovative printers under their Compuprint brand, including the new Compuprint 4247plus and other brand names continues to this day.
Compuprint is a division of GDS Group in Italy (www.gds.com). Compuprint's branch offices are located in Mappano, Italy where products are developed and then manufactured by GDS in their plant in China. Compuprint markets, distributes and maintains their products throughout the world through regional and local business partners, system integrators and VARs.
